Matthew McIntyre is a wood based designer. After getting his start in Alberta with a fine arts degree, it was soon realized that woodworking was where his real passion lied. With years of multiple jobs that include, fisherman, teacher and graphic designer, Matthew decided to return to school. Through this, Matthew hopes to obtain a foundation in "craftsman based" building. By doing this, Matthew hopes that this will allow his designs not only to obtain a fresh look at construction but hold on to the traditions that will allow his pieces to become timeless. Pieces have value because of the thought and time put into building them. Matthew is trying to bring life back into the everyday pieces we all use.
